BalkuSlim - Lake Ontario, ON

1,200 sf patio overlooking Lake Ontario completed in June of 2019.

The deck was on the second level of this house. It was pre sloped with an initial roofing membrane already installed. There was minor repair required to the substrate as it had a few dips that needed to be corrected prior to starting the installation. These imperfections were corrected by priming the surface with PE 260 and patching with NC 888. Once these were fixed the contractor began the Balkuslim installation. Weather was not on our side as a heat wave hit and we had to deal with high temperatures. The contractor had to use tents to shade the area to make the working times extended.
