Positive Tomorrows - Oklahoma City, OK

Positive Tomorrows is Oklahoma’s only tuition free elementary school and social service agency serving families that are experiencing homelessness. Formerly housed in a church annex with limited space, nearly 100 students each year had to be turned away. Additional space was needed if they were to serve more families. In 2017, MA+ began designing a new 42,000 sf facility that would triple capacity and extend the school’s student services to Early Head Start through 8th Grade. The design inspiration came from the Oklahoma landscape and responds to the idea that learning can happen anywhere and the flooring selected is no exception. Due to the heavy traffic the facility will receive, the flooring needed to be both durable and easily maintained. The flooring finishes selected met this need and provide a feeling of warmth, home, and connection throughout the building.
